2018 CAPE DORSET ANNUAL PRINT COLLECTION

The 59th annual collection comprised of 34 stunning prints has been released. This collection represents an exciting mix of themes: the comforting and naturalistic are juxtaposed with familiar motifs presented in bold , new perspectives. Established artists like Ningiukulu Teevee and Shuvinai Ashoona return this year with their characteristic imagery. Emerging artists such as Pauojoungie Saggiak and Quvianaqtuk Pudlat are confidently making waves in the art world and establishing a brand new stage of their own.

Enjoy the collection! The work and effort of many artists, printers, and the staff of Dorset Fine Arts, has produced another remarkable collection from Kinngait studios – Canada’s longest continuously running print studio.
