Sculpture Social & Pop-Up Exhibit

Join us on August 23rd from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario, for the unveiling of the newest addition to The Dan Lawrie International Sculpture Collection: School of Fish by Kakkee Negeoseak. Meet the artist from Cape Dorset, Nunavut and check out Nanooq’s special exhibition of Kakee’s carvings. Enjoy live music and take a tour exploring the fascinating RBG art collection. Indulge in locally sourced culinary delights along with one complimentary drink, and gather around a late-night fire pit. Click here for event information.

Nanooq Inuit Art will feature a summer pop-up exhibit at RBG’s Turner Pavilion Teahouse. The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 24 to 25. Meet artist Kakkee Negeoseak and browse our selection of carvings by Kakee as well as prints, drawings and carvings by other Cape Dorset artists.

2020 Inuit Art calendars are now available

2020 Inuit art calendars are now available for purchase. Dorset Fine Arts has been producing this annual calendar since the early 1970’s and it distributes to galleries around the world. Nanooq Inuit Art is pleased to be one of the galleries to offer it to collectors.

2019 SPECIAL RELEASE

Nanooq Inuit Art is pleased to release two spectacular prints in honour of the 60th anniversary of the West Baffin Eskimo Co-op. This release consists of one stonecut and one etching representing the primary print techniques used at Kinngait Studios. The two prints are representative of the accomplishments of artists Ningiukulu Teevee, Pitaloosie Saila and the many printers over the past 60 years.
