Nanooq’s Shipping and Handling Policy

Your order may take up to seven business days to process and be shipped. Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an order confirmation email from Nanooq Inuit Art.

If your order does not ship on time or we encounter any unforeseen delays, we will contact you by email.

Nanooq Inuit Art will ship your order via Canada Post. Upon checkout, you will be given the opportunty to select your Canada Post delivery service level (e.g. Xpresspost or Priority service) and you can calculate your shipping costs. The arrival of your order will depend on your geographic location in Canada, the USA or other international destinations and the shipping level that you select at the time of checkout.  Pease note, at Nanooq’s discretion, some items may be shipped via UPS or FedEx.

Please be advised that Nanooq Inuit Art may require the shipping company to obtain your signature or that of your designate, for your shipment. (If your order is being shipped to an apartment or in an office building, you may be required to sign for the shipment and your order will not be left at the door.)

We take great care to package your art carefully and we insure against any damages.  If, in the very rare instance your piece arrives damaged, please take photos of the damaged packaging and your art and contact Nanooq immediately so that we can initiate a report with the shipper.  Depending on the damage, we will discuss any available options with you to rectify the situation and advise on next steps..

Nanooq’s Returns & Refund Policy

Standard Return Policy

Purchases delivered within Canada – If you are dissatisfied with your purchase(s), you can request a return. For all works of art, you have up to 7 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s), to initiate a return. To initiate a return, please contact us at nanooq.ca@icloud.com.  Return shipping fees are at the expense of the customer and must be pre-paid.

Purchases delivered to other countries – Kindly contact Nanooq to discuss the specific situation.  We discourage returns because of the complications which arise with return shipping and duty or brokerage fees.  If a return is approved, return shipping fees and insurance are at the expense of the customer and must be pre-paid.

Please note, for any work of art to be returned, it must be in “mint condition” unless damaged in transit (see above).

Refund Policy

Once we receive your item(s), a refund is initiated immediately either via the original method of payment or e-tranfer.
